How to Add Your Signature to iCloud Mail
Follow these steps in iCloud Mail to install the signature you just created.
Decide Where You Access iCloud Mail
iCloud Mail doesn't have its own separate signature setting -- it uses whichever Mail app you access it through (Mac Mail, iPhone Mail, or iCloud.com in a browser).
On Mac: Open Mail Preferences
Go to Mail > Settings (or Preferences) > Signatures, select your iCloud account, and click + to add a signature.
On iCloud.com: Open Mail Settings
Sign in at iCloud.com, open Mail, click the gear icon, select Preferences, then go to the Signature tab.
Paste Your Signature
Paste your generated signature into the relevant editor box for whichever platform you're using.
Save
Save your changes -- on Mac this happens automatically when you close Settings; on iCloud.com click Done.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Signaturely. Can't find the answer you're looking for?
No -- iCloud Mail's signature is controlled by whichever Mail client you use to access it: Apple Mail on Mac, the iPhone Mail app, or the webmail interface at iCloud.com, and each must be set independently.
This follows the same platform limitation as Apple Mail generally -- iOS Mail signatures are plain text only, while Mac Mail and iCloud.com support rich formatting and images.
You'll need to paste it into each interface separately since Apple doesn't currently sync signature settings across Mail, iOS Mail, and iCloud.com automatically.
Yes -- the iCloud.com Mail Preferences signature editor supports rich text and images, similar to Mac Mail.
